For people that are using amaysim for their mobile phone, is the service any good?
The prices and the deals look enticing but I'm wondering if there's a catch (i.e. poor reception, poor phone call quality etc).

I have 2 services. They're fine and Optus is great in Melbourne and Regional VIC these days. Great app too.

My experience with their customer service has been good for the years i have had my main acct with them. Billing is accurate which i cant say is the same for other telcos.Optus bought Amaysim for $250m last November.
AGL bought Amaysim's power customers and the Click Energy Subsidiary around the same time (H2 2020).
WAM CApital bought the Amaysim "shell" around April 2021.
No complaints around Brisbane. $10 per month, unlimited sms and calls + 2GB data.
switched from aldi mobile about 7 years ago. After an 3-4 day outage which they couldn't explain. Been very happy since.
Good or poor reception depends on optus in your area. What is good for one may be crap for you.
