I purchased 10 handbag from dh gate
They were described as “ genuine leather “ but they are not
I have contacted dh gate about this and they are not being helpful
I paid on credit card. If i do a chargeback will i have to get a report from a professional stating they are not leather?
And does anyone know any places i can go to get such a report in regards to the leather ?

The first issue is that you were buying from DHGate and expecting leather. I think the thing is trusting what the seller is saying which, as they're overseas allows them to get away pretty easily. Did the seller have a decent score?
1) Can you prove it's not leather
2) have you chased up with the seller asking for a refund (you'd be surprised how effective this can be).
There is no legal term describing genuine leather. You could have a bag made of 99% plastic and 1% leather strands and still call it genuine leather.
You should know though, DH Gate is notorious for fake goods. It's probably the main reason people shop there.

Good point from ozbs25: Genuine leather = Lowest Quality of Leather, actually just word of Marketing, like Face Mask, they already get a very good standard N series, but most of the Mask can't pass the N95 minimum standard requirement, then create one so call TGA certified…
Do you even need 1 handbag in lockdown? You would be better served with 10 pairs of trackies ;)

They were 60 each . They are small ladies cross body bags . I have never bought leather before so not sure how much it usually costs .

For real, things cost money for a reason, and if they are stupidly cheap then OBVIOUSLY some corner is being cut. Your $20 belt is also genuine leather, do you really thing you're walking around with the same leather as my motorcycle jacket on your belt for that price? lol
