Although the review is giving it very high recommendations but I am testing one on me right now, here are the pros and cons. (mine cost $80)

Pros:
VERY AFFORDABLE for its quality, highly recommended if you dont want to get sucked in the marketing part of gaming accessories.
Noise cancelling mic compared to a $200 Sennhiesser 163D has noticeable difference but not a $120 difference if you know what I mean.
Audio quality is very high for $80 (but now you are buying it for $60).

Cons:
Hot ears
Tight clamp for some head shapes.
Size adjustible but it is all plastic (metal is recommended because I feel it will crack eventually)
Build quality isn't very high, once you touch it you would know if you touched a Sennheisser 163D.

NOTE: There are massive discounts that applies to all GameCom labelled products it seems.

  • So if I have a big head (um… full of brains?) these probably won't be comfortable?

    • +1

Both the Gamcom 367 and 377 are definitely tight and will strain a bit if you have a large head. Over time they will loosen up but it takes a while (took ~1-2 months for mine to loosen up).
It definitely takes patience and the willpower to not spend money to replace them.

  • Damn, just bought a pair of GameCom 367's from Officeworks for $69 :( Serves me right for not doing my research. They look almost identical to these and yes, they are probably a bit tight for extended wear. It's not like you can break them in either because they're made of plastic.

How can you get 7.1 channels if its routed to 2 analogue channels? Unless the other cable sort of identifies which speakers or something I dont know how this works so a bit sceptical as to 7.1 sound…

  • i own this headset. it is pretty good. my only complaint is my ears get hot after extended play. sound quality is amazing for the price though.
