New Balance Fuel Cell Echo $59.99 + Delivery ($0 with Club Catch) @ Catch

160

Been eyeing some shoes for faster work outs. These seem to have decent reviews and look like a good deal at this price.

Catch have my size + a few others so (7,8.9,10) so thought it is worth posting.

Yeah these are a perfectly cromulent shoe. The upper is quite stretchy, meaning that your foot isn't exactly clenched in tight there. The other thing to note is that the back of the heel collar right at the top will rub your achilles if you wear super short socks, so I always wear quarter socks with mine. The full coverage outsole has plenty of grip, and they have done a decent job for me on pacey days.

    • had to look up what cromulent meant?

      acceptable or adequate.

does it carry some extra meaning or something i'm missing. My vocabulary is pretty average I must confess

        A perfectly cromulent comment. Upvoted.

  • Can never be sure about width size (B, D, 2E or 4E) on catch. Got burnt in the past when I took a punt.

      B is normal women's width
D is normal men's width (also wide women's)
      2E is wide men's
      4E is ridiculously wide men's

  • Recently started running (More like jogging) for the first time in my life. So, get this or Skechers Razor 3?
I have been happy with my Skechers Go Walk shoes for my usual use and thinking about sticking with Skechers, but being completely new to running and looking for a new shoes and got overwhelmed. Not really sure which shoes to buy.

  • of course it's $0.01 away from the $60 threshold i need to use my $15 voucher :\
