Best Place to Buy 3D Printer Filament?

Last time I got any filament was literally years ago and Hatchbox was the go-to brand. Picked up a bunch of reels from Amazon (US). Fast forward to 2021 and it seems Hatchbox 1.75 PLA isn't as common (or cheap!) anymore.

Where are ozbargainers buying filament from nowadays?

  • I use eSUN. It's quite okay

I've only recently started in 3D printing but so far I've bought from 3DFillies and eSun from Cubictech. Only PLA at this point but been happy with the results of both.

    • I've also bought from 3dfillies before and would recommend them. Being a local supplier is nice, and they have a few exotic filament variants.

  • You could try Flashforge from Jaycar.

  • I buy from this seller: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/203335894629

Although we warned, even though they say they use Australia Post they actually send via fastway.

    • Who have now re-branded to Aramex.

Call them Fastway… They shouldn't be able to rebrand out of that reputation.

Agreed. Post was more of a warning than anything.

  • Thanks guys looks like $20 odd dollars is a good starting point for some cheap PLA.

  • 3dfillies pla+ is my current fav

  • Cubictech is where I go to. They have some of the cool filament and it's been great. I've got about fifteen rolls
