I was like, "Why would you buy the charger that came with the phone?" … nvm

Any idea where we find the original Samsung USB-C to A charge cables? Even the chargers don't come with them now…

Has been $18 on commercial site for a while. Apple 20w charger for $24 in case anybody wants know.

      5 less watt for $6 more :(

have you even heard of Tim Apple bro?

        • JB are still selling the old samsung fast chargers last time I was at my local, 15watt ones from 2-3 years ago.
Same ones that are all over ebay as fakes.

    • Will the Samsung 25W fast charge the iPhone with the supplied USB C to Lighting cable.

      • Yes

Can't believe the cord doesn't come with this now I need to shell out another 15 dollars :(

    • Vote with your wallet and give your business elsewhere. Don't buy Samsung branded chargers.

Their phones are more expensive than ever, and they give you less.

  • Thank you! been on the lookout for this, was considering getting the ZMI QB823 but this is much cheaper and does the job

Lmao dat separate charger purchase, what a time to be living in.

    • The seperate charger lacks a USB cable too so even with phone + seperate charger you still need to buy a seperate cable to actually use it.

      • It comes with a cable when you buy the phone

  • White is also available and in my case was the only available for nearby click and collect. If your local isn't available for click and collect, try the alternate colour.

TGG often matches commercial price instore (number of times for me). Therefore, save further with gift cards.

    • wow, you are lucky. I tried that once and a no go….wouldn't even try to match

      • I think they not really allowed but depends who is doing it. I always go to the same person over and over. So he kindda know me now and he just does it

Samsung has lost their way / mind with this decision of excluding chargers.

    • Nah who doesn't have multiple chargers lying around? I'd rather they knock $20 off the price.

Anyone looking for usb-c cables the ugreen ones in Amazon for $10(60w)/$12(100w)

      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07Z8QGV4H

      • Their prices are at all-time high. $20 off is a feel-better gimic.
Samsung is behaving like apple, which is the exact thing it came into the market to compete - not happy with their mindset of following apple.
I would rather have a charger plugged in waiting for me in multiple rooms if I have spares. and there is that cable needed in the car too. I disagree with this Samsung profiteering policy.

It actually make sense. Less plastic for the environment and everyone has at least a couple lying around from previous phones.

But did the customers get the cost savings? Probably not. The difference is likely to go to the margin directly.

You buy a high watt charger once and every device shares that, i dont need another OEM 15W charger to be "included for free" with my new phone purchase thats going to the drawer for the next 5 years.

It actually make sense. Less plastic for the environment and everyone has at least a couple lying around from previous phones.

I don't agree. That's just the excuse used so everyone can swallow it. End of the day, someone came up with the idea so they can hit a KPI - simple as that. Their phones are more expensive than ever, and they're more than likely still getting the same quantity of chargers manufactured.

If they cared about environmental waste they'd make their phones easier and cheaper to repair and prolong their life. Their phones used to have removable batteries and expandable memory. Most people now just look to upgrade once their battery degrades or their storage gets full.

I always resell my phones, and every time I've sold a phone - the person naturally expects the charger to be included. If the phone isn't being resold and repurposed, then you're creating more waste.

Chargers also improve over time. With new QC/PD technology, USB C etc. Your old smartphone charger is probably obsolete anyway.

        • yeah they keep removing features and increasing the cost. even the non-obsolete things are removed based on apple's ridiculous profit model. headphone jack, radio, etc etc.

unboxing of a new phone is quite devastating when you discover the charger to be missing.
and not everyone has ten previous phones, millions of students are buying their first phones right now too.

      • Old chargers probably don't support fast charging on the new phone due to constantly changing protocols. Have to buy the new charger to get your phone charging as fast as it should.

        • Not "buy"- should be included with the phone you purchase.

  • I think it's brilliant they don't flood the market with chargers.
only people who really need them buy = less rubbish.
I have quite a few chargers still in wrap that came with devices, I suspect I'm not the only one.

    • Are they manufacturing less though?

      • would they produce much more than they sell?

  • Get the 45w charger for the s21 ultra. It's sooo much faster than the 25w. Youtube reviews ssid it was the same but nope. Much much faster

    • Will it be detrimental to the battery in any way?
      Is it available on commercial?

      • Not sure I get all samsung phones for 50% off anyway so I'll have a new phone by then anyway

        • how do you get them for 50% off? work for them?

      • Not on commercial, checked

    • Got 65w charging on my oppo find X2 pro. Can confirm that even 45w would be sweet!

  • I think these are gone, product link from here gives:

This product has either been removed or is no longer available for sale.
