Just a reminder, if you already own the PS4 version of the game (digital or physical), you can get the Director's Cut on PS5 with a $10 (USD) upgrade at launch.

FYI - Physical PS4 version has been on sale for as low as $15 on multiple occasions.

    • PS4 Version is $24 on Catch with Club catch

    • I believe we will have to wait for the launch date before you can do this $10 upgrade.

Like Farming Simulator 22 for walking .

    • +1

Don't know why the neg. I can see not everyone will enjoy this game. I haven't played it, from what I can see it feels like too much walking across America and grinding.

      • I played around 40 percent of the story-line, but the gameplay was so boring that I had to use cheats to play the rest.

      • Agree, I watched some of the play through on online and this game looks very repetitive. Literally is like eggaz said.

    • +1

I played it for sometime on PC, till now all I have been is doing walking. Though I must say, the story so far seems interesting (in a disturbing way).

  • +9

The game for me. Slow paced and immersive.

  • Finished this on pc but damn this with the dualsense will hopefully be even better. Thanks, ordered.

too many uber eats/deliveroo/menulog/doordash fans boi here.

The most boring game I've ever played. Hideo Kojima is so overrated

    • +1

Metal Gear Solid series is different though.

    • +2

I'm sure you're going to get negged to hell because of this, but I agree with you. Kojima is a fine game-designer, but that's all he is.
I'm sure the best game-designer ever is someone from Japan, but it's definitely not Kojima.

  • Does the director cut include a shortcut route?
A few shortcut paths would have been nice to have.

  • Loved this game, its a slow burn but loved it.

Hopefully PC version not to long away

  • Quite the disappointment the game turned out to be…tried very quite hard to like and enjoy the game but just couldn’t. Too much of a non game that’s just not coherent enough

It’s nothing remotely as great as the mgs games level of quality (mgs 1-4)

    • Did you push past the first 5 hours of utter boredom running around? The story opens up massively and it's actually really really good till the end.

I think most people didn't get to enjoy that because of the steep beginning.

      • You’re not pulling my leg, are ya?

I think it was a little over the 3 hr mark I played to, before calling it a game.

        • Actually serious! Once you get past the initial awful stage and around Act 2 get a vehicle, the story changes dramatically. I was ready to give up too but ended up playing to the end. It gets weirder and weirder and then pulls together an absolutely fantastic ending. Worth checking some detailed reviews to see if you want to invest the time into it again.

  • preview looks promising. this will be the first game I've ever pre-ordered in 20 years of gaming
