Cheap 24mm wide angle lens for full frame Sony and also APS-C (equiv. 36mm). Well regarded optics. Also has bonus macro capability (1:2 ratio).

Cheapest price according to CamelX3. Aussie retailers selling for $400+.

Looks like no stock restriction - users can buy 5 each.

Also 4% cashback through Cashrewards.

No-brainer at this price if you need a cheap wide angle prime for your Sony.

I bought at $206. Price now dropped to $199. Get in quick before the Amazon pricing algorithm reverses direction.

I clicked “BUY” then I heard a groan from my numerous wide angle lenses and refrained.

  • Ah man, so sad I missed this!! I've been looking for something like this as I don't like carrying my 24-70 F4 (too big).

  • Wow been a while since I looked at lenses for my A7 mk1. What's the focus speed of these? My Sony 50mm is terrible and hunts. Considering selling to get this or the 35mm

    • Don't buy it if you want proper autofocus. You should consider Samyang 24 mm F1.8 lens, an excellent fast lens with amazing bokeh.

      • Cool thanks for the tip. But it is more than double the price. Will probably just hold onto my lens. Mostly use my phone these days

        • Yeah.. The difference between F2.8 and F1.8 is massive especially at low light. Besides Samyang lens has got better glass, some nice tricks (astro capable with infinity focus), 9 aperture blades (vs 7 in Tamron), programmable button and weather sealing so in my opinion it's definitely the better buy even at double the cost. I use that lens along with Tamron 28-200 (my only two lenses, covers almost all my needs).
