The Dinner Ladies (Home Delivered Frozen Meals) - Anyone Tried Them?

Has anyone tried these and have any feedback on taste/quality?

I’m getting a bit sick of HelloFresh and saw Zoe Foster-Blake mention them on Insta. Seems a bit pricey with $15 delivery for orders under $200 but the $45 off ADELAIDE45 coupon stacks with $25 referral code for me in Melbourne.

  • Muscle chef is the only meal delivery service I’d use tbh. Excellent portion sizes compared to youfoodz and much better tasting.

    • Yeah… have had a couple of YouFoodz deliveries lately and don’t think I’ll be reordering. These Dinner Ladies meals look to be more family orentated/home cooked

      • +2

Youfoodz has become progressively worse over the last few years. Downsizing portions and meat quality. Now that they have been acquired by hellofresh the only thing left to do is add deceptive marketing and hard to cancel plans.

I had to google Zoe Foster-Blake.
If you see something 'mentioned' by someone on Insta, it is just an ad.

  • Dinner ladies is more home-cooked style. They are very tasty, sometimes my better half complains they have too much flavour/seasoning/spices!

She gets one once a month or so as most of them keep well in a freezer too.

I alternate fortnightly between A-life plus and Foober.

    • Is Foober any good? been wanting to try them for a while now. Their old website was so dodgy looking, good to see it has been updated.

  • +1

Yeah Foober is consistently good. I tried a fair few of them (Muscle Chef, Dinner Ladies, Youfoodz, A-Life Plus) and Foober are my go-to.

  • We've used the Dinner Ladies at times over the last few years.

I can't comment on pricing, so DYOR there, but the food itself is good. As ever, some hits, some misses based on personal preference, but always found them to be pretty tasty.

    Worth a go.

Order in! Thanks for the feedback 😊

  • I give them 9 single beds out of 10.
