Limit on eBay gift cards @ ShopBack?

Hey guys, trying to make a larger purchase on eBay.

I was successfully able to purchase a $5 and $1000 eBay card, but keep getting an error when trying more.

I then tried the Swap card for $500, and that worked fine, but now again, I can't get any more.

I've tried a few payment cards, but keep getting an error.

Is there a daily limit or something?

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

    Never had this happen with Shopback.
    Did find that eBay had a limit of $1500 in gift cards per transaction though

      Indeed. From eBay T&C:

      No more than a total of $1,500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per transaction, no more than a total of $2,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month.

        Very weird, as I havent hit any of those thresholds…

          Your issue lies with Shopback or possibly your card issuer (who may have flagged the transaction as potentially fraudulent).

          Once you manage to purchase the GCs, be mindful of eBay's own hard limit.

    If not mistaken it happened to me before when I was buying Ikea gift cards - giving me impression that it was in limited quantity :)
