    I like sourdough bread, but making sourdough starter is a pain and takes a long time

      I added it, but then read the one star reviews…

      There are only 3 recipes out of the 100 in the book that actually use a sour dough starter.

      Some of the other books seem as though they aren't too bad.

        I think some people might have misunderstood the title. I know they could have made it clearer but I read it as being a starting book (beginner's book) to make sourdough bread, not necessarily the starter itself.

          I thought it was about how to make starter. Agree that a beginner's book on sourdough would've been a better title

      At this time of year the hindrance is the cold. When you add your water make sure it's warm. If you want to up the chances you can use rye flour if you can find some
