Hey Guys,

Long time Lurker, first time poster.

I saw these at Costco Auburn on Thursday. I noticed these aren't on the Warehouse Savings list (not a pdf anymore).

They're $10 off their normal price.

Not sure if this is the same for other Costco stores, but if you have a membership, this price is pretty good I think.

    For NSW, the restriction is 10km. (Not mean to encourage for unessential travel)

      Not if you live in one of the eight affected LGAs (which Costco Auburn is in).

  Auburn is within a Local government areas of concern.

  Shopping

  • Go directly to and from the shops to get what you need. Do not spend time looking at other things.

  That's Sydney. Costco is open? Is the "lockdown" a joke to you guys? When is Gladys going to get serious about this?

    I would much rather we (the Sydney community) get on top of the outbreak so that we can go back to work/school, visit family and friends safely again etc.
    There's a lot of us losing a lot more than $10 every day that the lockdown has to continue, but there's always a few who can't be bothered sticking to the rules and who will put their own safety and that of others at risk and force the lockdown to go even longer just to save $10 on a box of fancy glasses.
    I really think that the Ozbargain mods should be putting a ban on allowing posts like this that are for non-essentials and that are only available in Sydney for the duration of the lockdown.

      Try walking into a Costco. Plenty of Costco members driving 50km+ in Melbourne to do a shop, despite a 5km travel limit in Victoria. They are visiting to buy toilet paper, water, mince meat and stuff you could get within the 5km radius at woolies or aldi. They then mostly have their masks around their chin. You really can't cure stupid.
