Good deal if you can use the gift card. Rarely it goes below $230, and when they were on clearance it was nearly impossible to get. $189 for the pair is a solid price.

  Weirdly, I prefer the aldi ones when they go on sale. They have much beefier treads than the maxtrax ones, and are significantly cheaper.

    would like to know what their endurance is, seen these be used repeatedly over and over again without bending etc where as some of the cheaper ones not so much

      Ive got a set of aldi ones

      So far they have lasted for years

      Prob as i havent used them as yet 🤣

      But they are decent and i think i bought them discounted for about $100

        Hahahaha love those honesty. Hoping it's more due to you never getting stuck rather then never going to the beach etc

        Keep planning trips myself and pesky lockdown keeps happening so my maxtrax also brand new never used haha

      I've used mine for about 8 years, probably over 100 times in my and more often other people's cars. They're really sturdy and can also be used as shovels

        Nice, is it these ones? I can imagine in the 8 years or so they might of had a design change..
        Have you noticed how often it pops up at Aldi?

          @WarriorZ: Those are the ones, although when I bought they they used yellow instead of green.

          Like most things at aldi, they show up a few times a year, just keep an eye out for the 4wd accessories special buys

  Just a quick note for those wanting to purchase.

  Called them and the bonus gift card (as I am told by CS) will only be issued via email after the promotion has ended. Might be helpful for those wanting/ thinking of using the gift card to purchase a 2nd set.
