      They used to have Marquis Philip. I can't see anything similar. Maybe the Gotham shiraz (-viognier)?

      You need to check out the Grateful Palate wines from America. They are the ones that promoted this style of big South Australian shiraz. They may have gone bankrupt, though.

      Unfortunately for you, there are no GP wines at winemarket. There's very little that appeals to me (I like many styles of wine.)

      I went for a pinot noir - the antithesis of Chris Ringland shiraz.

    Went for the Big Woop Red. 9 cheap & cheerful 1L bottles for $30 with the code.

    Reviewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkeMsVvpARs - worth watching to hear the US pronunciation of Woop. Plus he gets real excited about how much alcohol is in Aussie wine.

      Worked out to be under $3.50 per litre bottle, which was well worth the risk. Went with it after reading the reviews / watching the American guy. It's a $10 quality wine easy.
      This is why I'm on OzBargain.

    I used the voucher earlier in the week to buy a 6 pack of the Mystery 2007 Old Vine Shiraz. Only time will tell what it is - but if it is any thing like the Penfolds Bin 150 I will be happy with the price of $140 or under $23 a bottle I will be happy

        And the winner is - It was Torbreck - but not The Struie - It was 2007 The Sporran Shizaz. Cellarmasters has it for just under $300 + postage - so a very good deal IMHO at $140 delivered.
