I hear you, that's why we have the "Just take me to the store…" link.

Steve, am I right in thinking that by clicking the "Just take me to the store" link, that identifies that the shopper's come through StartHere and so gets the rebate regardless of being a JustHere member?
Secondly, if a shopper does that, they can presumably bookmark that page so that next time they don't need to go through StartHere?
Finally, would that shopper still be able to gain levels, making a range of purchases through different StartHere affiliates?
As a separate note, you appear to have a lot of local web traders on-side, including most of the local ones my wife and I deal with on a regular basis. Impressive.

Answering your questions in order:
You have to be a member of StartHere in order to get the rebates paid to you.
You must go through StartHere every-time as the rebate model uses cookie tracking to assign commission to affiliates (StartHere).
You progress up the member levels whichever stores you purchase through, and as soon as your purchase is tracking it will enable you to move up through the levels, you don't need to wait for the transaction to get paid to you.
