Has Anyone Bought from Direct Coffee Supplies/dcs.com.au?

Hi all, has anyone previously bought from DirectCoffeeSupplies/dcs.com.au/their eBay store? I want to buy a Eureka coffee grinder from them but unsure if they're a reputable store.

Their overall Google rating is 4.1/5, which is not bad, but reading into it there are a few horror stories - quite different from the likes of KBean who have consistently glowing reviews. Hoping someone on here has some personal experience dealing with them and can provide their input.

Cheers!

I haven't bought from them but the reviews do look pretty bad. It seems mostly people were having issues with repairs and maintenance so maybe if you're just buying a product it could be ok. Unless its a massive price difference personally I would choose another place, there's a lot of good coffee supply stores in Australia.

For what it's worth I also bought a Eureka grinder a couple of years ago. I bought it from overseas as it was significantly cheaper back then, maybe local prices are better now but something to consider. Link is below if you are interested.

    • Yeah I was thinking that, seems like a pretty large risk to take on a $800 purchase (was going to get the Specialita)… But the difference is almost $100 between KBean and these guys! They were the same price just a week ago, kicking myself for sleeping on it and waiting until the weekend to order.

I did consider ordering from espressocoffeeshop, but worried about local warranty and servicing if I ever need it. I also have a few eBay gift cards I wanted to use up which was why I was considering this route. Sounds like I'm better off waiting for it to come back down in price and making do with my built-in Breville grinder for now.

  • Avoid direct coffee supplies in bibra lake. They are criminals
