          Very cheap quality.

          Quality has dropped as they have changed manufacturers. Poor quality leather choice. Sole/midsole construction is piss poor.

          You can't compare it to a handmade goodyear welted boot. However, I would probably recommend spending a little more and getting something more in a midrange as I'd consider this to be a junk range shoe.

      I have it. These are very comfortable, look good and have a good grip for rainy days. However there are Couple of things I don’t like
      1. There is a join at in the lining at the front tip. It gives it an unfinished look. It’s same with all hush puppies shoes.
      2. It makes a squeaky sound sometimes when walking, may be when the feet are too sweaty

        Not specific to these shoes/boots, but you can fix the squeaking sound by sprinkling some powder (might as well use deodorising powder) under the inner sole.

          Makes sense. Sound is coming from back of my foot rubbing against the shaft. These are my first boots, I didn't have this problem before with dress shoes. I will try powder when I wear them again, after the lockdown is lifted.

            @Ironh59: You could still put some powder around that area which should help. My wife is a podiatrist and usually suggests that as a fix for squeaky shoes.

      I have these and extra wide fit means 4E. Very wide. Well made though and worth it if you have a good grip on the earth.

      These are suuuuuper wide - no amount of innersoles could get mine to be even close to what a size 10 should have been.

      No they are a bit bigger than what I'm used to. I'm Yeezy size 11 and size 10 on these are abit big on me so looking for 9.5

      But U can mitigate this with some gel insoles

    Their sizing took an order or two to get right.

    I think I'm ideally a 11.5 AU on every pair of shoes I buy, generally I round up to a 12 AU and that still fits fine.

    I've found my "Hush puppy" size (after ordering another pair a couple of weeks ago) is 10.5 AU (11.5 US).

    I would recommend at least dropping a size.

    I am usually a size 10AU and bought HP Chelsea last year for size 9AU for about $120!

    Just bought another one cause they were great, different colour why not! $80!

    I have these in black, brown and suede. Great fit for normal feet and comfortable to wear all day.

    Soles are very grippy as well.

    Just check the sizing chart when ordering as I have found they show UK sizing and then US sizing on different versions of the same product in the past.

    Is one size down appropriate? I am a us 10 usually but I have heard Chelsea Boots should be worn tighter as they don't have laces. Also, are there free returns?

    I bought these, got em for $100 a few months ago. They’re great, very versatile and comfy. I added an extra sole on top of the already good hush puppies sole.

    Before buying it, I went to Shoe Warehouse in DFO to find my perfect size. Then bought it off Amazon lol.

    Also about sizing, I’ll add what I can. When I buy sneakers (e.g. Ultraboost) I’m a US10 - I like a loose-ish fit. But when I buy boots (e.g. Chelsea boots or Timberlands) then I’m a US8.5/AU7.5. So that’s what I got for these, and it fits perfect. Especially with the extra sole.

    Bought these about 6 months ago, insoles cheap and lacked arch support and the sizing was not accurate about 1 size bigger than indicated. Expected more from Hush puppies.
