All the "real" GoDaddy code starts with
gd, although you do get other third party codes like Chris Pirillo's and Digg's floating on the net.There are already a ton of domain registrars' coupon code sites out there. When I started bargain blogging, I used to post about these but I pretty much stopped soon afterwards as I realised GoDaddy releases new coupon codes every week or two.
After all, USD$8.95 + 0.22 ICANN fee (are they the only one having ICANN fee as extra?), even with 10% off, is not that great deal. That's around $10 AUD. I know Sofitech Media charges AUD$8.95 for their gTLD domains — GST included! There are also other US-based registrars that charges you as little as USD$5.99 everyday price no ICANN-fee extra crap. Note that Verisign is charging USD$6 per domain wholesale (but will raise after October 15) — so you know how much margins registrars get.
Well, I can go on talking about domain names, but I'll stop here since it is a bargain forum :)

I think I remember reading somewhere that this is actually a referral code for someone, but I cannot recall the source now.
