Just go by pricing. No one is gonna charge or pay $30 for a 1m cable that is second rate in performance.

    This is bloody expensive

    Shouldn't this be $1

Lol are you insane op 😂

Crazy overpriced for a basic USB-C cable, you can get excellent Thunderbolt cables for this price.

exactly Anker thunderbolt 3 cabe too on Amazon for $30

      • I am a prime member and did check on Amazon, same cable goes for $58.

And I agree Anker thunderbolt 3 is probably better comparison, saved in my wishlist on Amazon. This post however is about a good quality Belkin cable.

        • Yeah, the Anker one looks nice would have gotten one but nothing I use have thunderbolt. If I want an ultra-high quality non-thunderbolt cable, I go with Nomad. Bought one last year and the thing feels like a climbing rope.

@RobBoss: Oh yes Nomad do look like great cables. No wonder they're so highly priced,( just clicked your Amazon link).

        • The Belkin cable is overpriced at $30 and laughable at $58.

I'd argue that just because it's cheaper than normal, doesn't make it a bargain, since there are plenty of excellent and just as capable cables available for far less, and more capable cables available for the same price.

  • Overpriced period.

  • Sorry OP, but that's crazy pricing. Not sure why this has been posted

  • A for Apple, B for Belkin….. Is Belkin the new Apple?

    • For years it’s felt like Apple has asked Belkin to make the accessories they’d rather not.

Agree that this cable is way overprice
But I dont think its fair to compare to a $5 or less cable
most cheap ones (including Baseus) are just USB 2.0 with 480Mbps max transfer rate (eg. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000802127824.html)
while this is USB 3.1 with up to 10Gbps max transfer rate
and this Belkin can also support up to 100W PD charging

However, I personally still prefer to get a cheaper USB-C to C 100W cable just for PD Charging only
and get another USB C to C 3.1 for data transfer (but might not support 100W charging)
getting 2 cables (1 for charging, 1 for transfer) will still cost less than $30 in total

  • Thanks for your input everyone. Agree that generally the price for this category is quite high but I was after a good quality cable with fast charging and data transfer speeds, and found the price cheapest for this brand hence ordered one. Each to their own but I understand that some people will prefer other brands, that might be cheaper than this one.

  • I got an USB C to USB C cable from Daiso for $2.80

    • Think you are talking about this one mate.

This won't support 60W or 100W, read the comments on the post and compare specs.

      • not that exact one, mine is in black colour. more than enough for me as I only need 15W for my S10

Oh ok makes sense. I've already got a couple of USB cables like the one you have. One of them I got with my recent purchase of S21 Ultra. But I wanted a quality fast charging cable to work on my fast GAN charger and power bank and also for fast data transfers.

          • @deals4amar: makes sense, my PC only got USB 2.0 so anything is fine for data transfer lol. I use USB-C to USB-C cable only with a new power bank which I got from a previous deal.
