Sheesh over $60 bucks a kilo with the discount is it made of gold??

    • Yep!

WTF? I'm confused whether I'm looking at coffee or a type of coffee flavoured confectionery. Either way, $131 is way too expensive for my palate.

    • They've also got more traditional blends too

  • Bloody ridiculous. I have tried this Raspberry Candy coffee, just one small bag from local shop, nice but nothing to rave about… absolute joke of a price

    • How did you make the coffee?

      • E61 Espresso machine, freshly ground. Only really get the raspberry flavour in straight espresso shot but I usually drink long black. But I am fairly sure the 250g bag was under $15 so price must have gone up a lot..

        • Personally I've always found those flavours really shine with full cream milk.

Wow much hate. We all a bit tense in lockdown hehe…? This is specialty coffee guys, I could say the same about a Rolex watch but I'm just not the market for it. I've had some of the best coffee from Ona. Maybe the Aldi coffee range might be better suited for you… i've heard it's actually not that bad! I wouldn't touch that shit though..

    • There are plenty of specialty roasters on here offering coffee at or below $25 per KG. This price is ridiculous, and the Aldi alternative is not a useful comparison. This price is 2 to 3 times the price of equivalent products.

I have serious questions about the sourcing, quality and sustainability of a lot of the 'specialty' roasters on here that offer huge discounts and really low prices. I haven't tried coffee from them all, but what I have tried has been pretty poor and doesn't really compare to what is offered by specialty roasters like Market Lane, Wood & Co, or ONA. I also buy specialty to know that prdoucers are being paid fairly, and the discounts don't really allow for that either.

100% agree with your comment. Prices are aligned with other specialty coffee places such as Normcore, The Q Coffee and Seventh Wave. Picked up the Colombia Monteblanco Cherry and Ethiopia Koki as I prefer the vibrant nodes.

Do you need to amend the title, you need a minimum for free shipping?

Given the owner has won a World Barista Champion title. I believe the price is acceptable. Best coffee money can buy

Where you think the price is worth it or not is really up to you and how much you prefer Ona v other brands, however DC's service is great ordered on the 16th and received my order today! Super quick!

  • Looks good to me, ordered few blends to try. Thanks

The Hitman really changed my views on milk based coffee (have always been into filter) give it a try it's damn good
