How to be part of The Birthday Project

  • In short, all you have to do is scroll to your birthday and upload a recent photo of yourself to that date.
  • Simply choose your best self-portrait shot (ideal dimensions at 1024x768px, up to 5MB file size) and upload.
  • Don’t worry if there’s already a photo on your birthday, you can add multiple photos to the same date.
  • You can choose to give us a display name rather than showing your first name to the public.
  • Once you upload and submit your photo, we’ll aim to check over it as soon as possible so that it can go live for all the world to see.
  • Once it’s checked, we’ll send you an email to confirm you’re in, but if you don’t hear back from us straight away don’t worry, you won’t lose your place in the queue, we’ll get to it as soon as possible.

      I claimed 3 for my grandpa and my nieces with real info and photos at 10am, received 2 UNSUCCESSFUL emails just now. They are getting infos and photos from us to fullfil their website, not giving tees. At least not as they said"first come first serve" They are selecting photos and info.

        suddenly realized something, the photos include some signs of other brands, against their rules. My fault.

          I entered for me, husband and nephew with real photos. Husband (wearing chesty bonds) and nephew (in Ben 10 costume holding Ben 10 toys) accepted and t-shirts ordered. Mine (wearing wedding dress) was rejected and deleted from their site. I just tried again with a different photo, wait and see…

      It's taking more than a minute to upload a 36K photo on an ADSL2 connection :(

        IE and it was quick uploading, saving etc. But, like I said, it was very early in the morning. No local kiddies awake, hogging the wireless waves, to slow my internet down:)

          Hmm it seems a bit hit and miss. I tried with Chrome yesterday and firefox this morning and then I eventually got it working on IE first go :(

    Need photos less than 100KB for reasonable upload time or it seem to 'hang'.
    Only got 'have received' email, no 'confirmation for t-shirt claim' email yet….

      I got that email yesterday but got another one today telling me I was successful and to claim my t-shirt. I think it's just an apology e-mail for taking longer than they planned.

      I didn't get that email but I just got a confirmation email that I'm in but I got pipped at the post :( So no shirt for me. Ah well, best of luck to the rest of you who are waiting. Damn their craptacular upload tool!

      I got an email on at the end of February saying my personalised t-shirt was on it's way and could take 4 to 9 weeks. But after almost 15 weeks I still haven't received anything :(

      I should be getting 3 but only one has come so far. It arrived about a week ago and the year was 2008 so I guess they're working their way backwards.
