What is Headspace?
Meditation app, essentially.
I thought I had heard of Headspace but I thought it was a free mental health service based on donations or public funding.
Yep - both, but seperate. One Headspace is a federally funded youth mental health program in Australia. Another is an app with various mental wellness type exercises etc.

Aren't these apps essentially a collection of MP3 files which you have to pay to keep access to?
Yes. But that's a hell of a lot of work. There are a lot of tracks.
Also, doesn't the CALM app have new celebrity speakers make new recordings from time to time?
Yeah, calm has the daily calm, etc.
But for headspace headspace, I heard a rumor that pirates are sharing all the audio tracks off one of those "drive' sites.
They do a 7 day free trial, or free subscription if unemployed, though that's a us thing, unsure if they do something similar in Australia, also not sure if that's the position you're in, or just looking for a bargain.
