Does anyone recognise tracking numbers like MP800xxxxxxx, from AliExpress/China?

Hi, I’ve been given a few tracking numbers recently, matching the pattern MP800xxxxxxx (where x is a number), mostly from AliExpress sellers. Does anyone know what shipping company this is? Can they be tracked?

UPDATE: It looks like it's Aramex, aka Fastway, aka Shop & Ship

Thanks everyone!

  • This app is very good at picking up random tracking numbers and collating them for you for regular updates. Give it a go.

    https://deliveries.app/en.html

    • I used to use that app. It's pretty, but it didn't have anywhere near the coverage that parcelapp.net has. Once Deliveries stopped supporting Australia Post, I dropped it completely. Unfortunately, neither Parcel, nor Parcel's developer recognise this tracking number. That was my first try.

I usually use https://www.17track.net/en which appears to support a large number of chinese shipping companies like Yanwen and YunExpress

    • Thanks. I just tried it. It auto-detected "Australia Post" as my carrier (presumably based on my IP as it didn't recognise the format?), which of course knows nothing of the number. Unfortunately, there's nearly 200 Chinese carriers there. Switching to them, one at a time, isn't tenable.

      • You can probably message the seller and ask what carrier they used to post your goods. Would say there's a good chance the seller can tell you since that information is stored in their back end

  • there are transfer numbers too, which is a new number given when it arrives here. by couriers

probably aramex. i just put random 1231234 numbers in your example. Aftership is usually pretty good at figuring them out

I had this, and aramex printed new shipping labels, and got suburbs and postcodes wrong, then returned parcels to sender after having marked them as delivered so I couldnt get my money back. I let the CEO know of all the problems, hope its fixed. Too late now for me I no longer buy at aliexpress because of this, I llost over 500

  • Best option is to get shipment via Epacket … Usually comes in 2 weeks.
