  I’m guessing this is an electret condenser rather than a “true” condenser that would require a separate power input. However, electret condenser mics can be pretty good, especially for the price. True condensers run to hundreds of dollars.

    You definitely won't want this to be the Kogan one Makers Muse reviews.

    With no reviews and not much info about it anywhere, it could be a dud.

    Interestingly the Kmart one reviewed by Maker's Muse (Neewer, NW7000) is being sold at Dick Smith and on Kogan for $237 and $252 respectively.

      That's one hell of a mark-up, given K-Mart will already have a comfortable margin on their version.

      The K-Mart home-branded one reviewed by Makers Muse says it will be "back on-line soon".
