JD Sports Order Cancelled but Shipped?

Ok so I took a risk a few days ago and made an order from JD sports, (first time). About 10 minutes later it got cancelled. Today, just now I got an email saying the order has been shipped, what?
Even weirder, I paid with PayPal and I have only been refunded for one of the two items, but the shipping email has both listed?
When I click track my order, it says it’s on its way (both items) but there’s no tracking number (maybe it’s too recent).
Can someone tell me has this happened to you before and if it’s a mistake. I have no idea what’s going on to be honest so will appreciate any insight/past experiences. Cheers

    Will you be unhappy if you only get one item and have to pay for it and the shipping? That's what it sounds like has happened.

      Is the second item listed as backordered or some other indication that it's not actually shipped, like "Qty 0"

        Nope, both say qty 1 on the email

      I wouldn’t mind just the one item, seeing as I bought it on sale anyways

    JD have a habit of cancelling sale orders. Never had the stock in the first place. Doubt if they will put a sale item on backorder.

    Shameful and cheap trick by JD. Probably sale was never their intention. Just to gain traffic and increase customer list
