Sleep City Liquidation Sale?

Now the administrators have announced that all Sleep City stores will be closed and that all remaining stock will be sold, does anyone know if they will be at "closing down" prices?

I remember back in the 80's and early 90's (when we were also in a downturn) if stores closed down they would liquidate stock at heavy % off discounts (venture and Norman Ross come to mind). Now it seems there is no such this as a "closing down sale". Even rug shops have stopped bluffing :)

    They are more likely to go as a 'fire sale', so sold in large quantities of stock. This might be where places like Grays Online will pick up some items (not sure if Grays ever sell bedding but it's just an example). Harveys or another large bedding place might also pick up stock in large qty. Much better for the admin/liquidator to get a guaranteed $ than to sell in dribs and drabs. Besides, all the poor creditors will just get less cents in the dollar.
