  Would these type of built-in x/y mics be good at noise cancellation especially when one might have a noisy PC? Anyone use one of these zoom devices and can comment cheers

    I know it's expired, but no, not really. Your best bet is the shotgun mic attachment due to its very narrow pickup pattern, but that has issues as well, such as the very narrow pickup pattern :-D

    A dynamic mic would be better for noise cancellation, or you can use standard plugins for noise gates or noise suppression with OBS for example.

    Samson Q2U, Audiotechnica ATR2100x or more exxy Shure MV7 would be good place to start for USB mics.

    These are directional, so they will record in the direction you face them, and virtually nothing behind them. But they will pick up everything in front of them.
