Backpack That Fits a Carton of Stubbies (and Doesn't Look Suspicious)

For various reasons, I'm looking for a normal-looking backpack that neatly fits a carton of stubbies. The cartons I've measured are about 40x25x25cm.

Can you recommend one that's suitable? Easily washable would be handy, too.

Thanks!

Not a backpack but doesn't look suspicious.

  • Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L
This will fit a slab of tinnie, slides straight in and has room to spare at the top
I think it will do stubbies too, but cant remember tbh it's been ages since I bought them in the backpack
Deffo enough space to fit 4x6 six packs of stubbies though

    Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L
This will fit a six pack

Description says it holds a 12 pack not a full slab. Do you own one and can test it fits a slab?

I suspect it wouldn't as it looks too small (40x25x25cm is 25 litres of space on its own) so unless it's extremely square I doubt it will fit in a 30L bag.

      • Do you own one and can test it fits a slab?

Yes I own a 30L one and regularly used to use it to bring slab of cans home. Bottles you need to take out of the outer carton and re-package the 6-packs to fit

Description says it holds a 12 pack not a full slab

It says that for both the 20L and 30L, the 30L deffo holds a slab

    Try Shelving them.

  • I think all the clinking of the bottles together will give you away regardless of the bag you choose.

    {suspicious clinking}

I have mastered the art of walking up and down the stairs very carefully so far…

Ok, just be careful walking back up them after drinking all the beer…

  • Do you just need it to hold 24 stubbies or the actual carton in it's original packaging?

If it's the latter that's fairly difficult as they're so square it would require a massive bag… 40x25x25cm is 25 litres of space so would need a substantially larger bag than this to fit it without being obvious.

    • I'm hoping to be able to carry them in the carton, so I can easily take them out of the venue without making too much mess.

      Or noise.

      • Assume your profile location is correct and you are in nsw - where are you going when most things are shut/people staying at home. Just curious lol.

        • No comment, Brad. ;-)

  • I had a friend and uni who cut a hole in a bottom corner of his satchel so he could carry goon into clubs and pour it through the tap pushed through the hole. Maybe you could do something like that if you don't mind wine instead of beer, wherever it is you're trying to sneak alcohol into.
