Apple Watch 6 Slow Charging Issues

Hope everybody is safe and healthy during this time of pandamic.

I bought Apple Watch 6 from JB in June 2021 and recently I have been noticing that the watch is taking more than 3 Hours to charge, whereas intially it was charging in approx 1.5 Hours from 5% to 100%. Apple also suggests 1.5 Hours normal charging time.

I'm using the orignal Magsafe charger that came with the watch and 12W Apple Adapter. I have tried different power adapters as well but the result is almost same.

I have contacted Apple and they suggested to reset the watch, after the reset it charged within 1.5 Hrs for 2 to 3 times but again the charging time has been increased to 3 Hours and I have also turned off "Optimised battery charging", in case that was causing the issues. Apple also ran the diagnostics test but couldn't find any issues with the battery and have booked the pick-up for watch which will be sent to the repair center to monitor the issue further.

I wanted to ask if anybody else has the same issue and what steps they used to resolve such issue?

  I've noticed this as well with mine but it only happens sometimes most of the time it charges fine.

    Does this happen mostly overnight?

  Sounds like a buggered battery.

  The service centres would just replace the watch, they don't do repairs on Apple Watch.

      From what I saw it’s a brand new replacement without the band or charger, just the watch face in a sealed small apple box.
