Experiences with Banggood? Please Help

Hello there fellow OzB members, please don't respond if you're time is too precious.

This is my first time using Banggood app.

I've ordered a few different items.

One says "priority mail" the other says "AU direct"

I assume they are all coming from China?

How long on average should it take ?
It says no tracking?

What are you personal experiences with BANGGOOD and delivery is it done with auspost? I'm assuming at least 2 weeks?

Cheers again folks

So basically just wait and hope

  • Didnt someone complain about the wait few days ago?

Have purchased several items through Banggood over the years.

Generally items from the China warehouse take 4+ weeks. A couple that took 3 months to arrive.

I've found items from Aust warehouse are 10-14 days to Cairns.

    • Will I don't mind waiting really as long as they arrive in good shape of course not doa

  • Ive been ordering from BG for years. Just try to get things from the AU warehouse. Otherwise, I normally get my items from china in 3-4 weeks with free postage. Usually get a bunch of things and pay extra for faster shipping and its usually in 2 weeks.

  • took two weeks to get my Kemove Snowfox keyboard

  • From AU warehouse, pretty good. From Chynna, usual 4-6 weeks.

Check that the item you want is shown as in stock, not on back order. That is when long delays can occur.
I have found that they are pretty reliable. Usually delivered in 3-4 weeks for me. The most common delivery delay point is their Australian courier Aramex formally known as Fastway. Aramex are not good at giving tracking info either.

  • One lot of items says "our warehouse has started packing your items" so that should be a good indication

Yes it is. It will be out of China in a few days, weekend excluded. The waiting is painful.. LOL I know.

    Free postage usually 6 weeks
Priority postage usually around 7 business days (ie 1.5 weeks)

I don't bang hard but I sure banggood

  • Off topic but so what.. Always thought it odd that 3 stores had names made up of the same initials GB or BG. Banggood, Gear Best and Geek Buying.

  • They do have a drop shipping service in Australia but they are still slow if it says shipped from Australia it should be around a 7-10 days, which isn't to bad i put an order in at Target longer ago than that which still has not shipped lol.

  • Banggood is very reliable.

I'm currently pulling teeth over a warranty issue with Banggood - they are trying their hardest to not refund the tablet I bought even though I sent it back to them.

I'm probably 25+ emails deep and so far they have only half refunded my postage, the tablet hasn't been done yet. They lie and constantly change their story.

Don't get anything of value with them - they are scum and simply don't care about customers once the sale has been made even when you do everything they say.

Banggood is scambags, took a deposit for one of the deals, never communicated back to pay the rest and now saying sale is ended and deposit is not refundable. Avoid.

    • Warranty is about 6 months but they only offer refund half a price. I got 75% after long discussion..

Banggood has always been slower than aliexpress for me, but both are slow. I've mostly stopped using them because of how ridiculously slow Chinese shipping is.

  • Banggood don't have real time stock management. Stear clear of mobile deals for new items or products being replaced by new models. They will stuff you around offering exchange products which in my case we're also out of stock. They will refund after 25 days but the process is time consuming and deliberately drawn out. Buying products not in stock ( but showing 24 hour shipping) is a pain. They are quite difficult to deal with and th chat responses are slow. I spent 90 minutes exchanging a product which you guessed it, was also our of stock. Not happy Jan!

  • Banggood is now BangBAD for me.
Bought a 34 ultra wide Mi monitor and 8 months after had screen issue. They are offering me $50 for a $700 monitor. Then they want me to have it repaired and they will reimburse if repair is cheap. But I lose warranty. Really? I now will not buy from this lot. And will warn everyone I know. Very bad experience.

    • Good luck finding a place to repair it.

  • I have bought several phones and a laser projector from Banggood.

Even though some were expensive I never paid extra to speed up or the "insurance" Option.

Out of 4 items 3 out of the 4 arrived within 2 weeks. I had a minor delay on one item that arrived at about the 3 and a half week mark.

I have not bought cheaper items that you may experience more delays on though. I think some of the small stuff is from minor players all over the place where as the bigger priced items are more likely to be in their major warehouse in Hong Kong or nearby.
