Fortia Electric Sit-Stand Desk Recommendation

Hi all,
I've been researching options for an electric sit-stand desk under $500 and stumbled upon this site - https://www.mytopia.com.au/furniture/office-furniture/standi…

Searched through OzB and can find only very few references. eBay seems to have a good rating though - would like to hear your experiences please with the "Fortia" brand (build quality, problems, if any).

Thanks in advance!

  • I got the frame and a cheaper desktop at IKEA and could not have been happier with it. So far so good in the past 3 months. The material is quite sturdy and and good quality. I researched and two motors is the way to go. When you have the table all the way up it can shake a bit but not bad.

This was the frame that I got: https://www.mytopia.com.au/fortia-frame-only-sit-stand-heigh…

    • Thanks! - by any chance, do you have the link the IKEA desktop?

      • It was the Tarendo which is currently in a deal: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/taerendoe-table-top-black-60365…

I wanted it small and around 70cm width.

Some people prefer a bigger one and get the TOMMARYD or BEKANT. I do not recommend the honeycomb ones since they tend to sink over time.

        • You will have to drill your own holes if you buy a third party table top, just something to consider too.

  • @hispeed, did u end up buying FORTIA.. i am looking for a corner desk and it is coming to 494 . wanted to get feedback if u have bought FORTIA and if there is any better / high quality option available around $500 price tag.
