Hi. I’m going to buy a custom Mac mini from the Apple Education Store but wondering if now’s the right time to do it.
Does anyone know if there’s due to be any bonuses or reduced prices on Macs in the next month? I can’t wait until November or January, so those Black Friday and back to uni deals are no good to me.
Should I just pull the trigger now and be happy with the education discount, 4% off discount vouchers and cash back through ShopBack? Or should I wait?

It depends. If you are buying a custom model I don't think that you can benefit from sales at stores like JB Hi-Fi. They usually stock only base models.
The M1 in the Mac mini is approaching End of Cycle, but whether anything new will come out in the next two months, I don't know.
If you are looking for something custom, just buy from the education store. There might be an increased cash back promo for Father's Day.
Note: There is some talk of a revised, more powerful Mac Mini with more ports coming out probably next year (thus more expensive). Unsure if that would interest you.
MacRumours buyers guide is 'neutral' for Mac mini. Unless you need you I'd wait until all September announcements occur.
