Help with Factory Resetting Google Nest Wi-Fi

Hey guys,

I purchased a google nest WiFi 4 pack (2 routers/2 points) 2nd hand.. the guy I bought it from said that I’ll need to factory reset the units.

I have tried looking up on YouTube how to do this, but all the videos I’ve seen assume that they’re already set up in my google home app… Is there a way that I can factory reset them prior to setting them up?

Is it just a matter of plugging each one into power and holding down the physical reset button for 10 seconds and that will do the trick?

Thanks!

Yes. Try it and report back.

In the time you wrote this thread you could have reset them with your current knowledge.

Yep. Have done it a couple of time recently. They do take quite a while (feels like several minutes) to restart after the reset.

    Cheers.

It's at the bottom of the page?

Factory reset your router or point with the factory reset button on your device
