Decent discount compared to other retailers. Purchased this from the education store had this for $379 on the weekend.
Bit annoyed Samsung eBay have sent me an offer for $359.10 so you might get lucky.

  Width of 980mm. Would mean that to get any kind of stereo separation your tv needs to be less than 50”

      Because the speakers are all so close to each other, the left and right channels should ideally be at least 45cm from your tv, but sound bars don’t do this, so not really even true stereo.

        I calculate it closer to 85cm from a point directly in
        front of a tv. The drivers aren't toed any towards the MLP (afaik) so that would 'widen' things a bit but at the expense of accuracy. Wait why are we doing this ? If you're buying a soundbar you're not likely to care about imaging.

        In my experience with sound bars you're more likely to be worried about your hearing going in and out on account of you being 85 years old…in which case a 50 inch tv is a 'big screen' and you sit wherever you damn please.
