  • What do you use this for, personally.

    Edit: so miss Sean Lock

    • Usually ISOs, firmware and other tools I use in my day job. Usually stick a flashdrive on the keychain for when I forget the portable SSDs ;)

I would love to know more about your ISOs.

        • They're not disgusting Linux ISOs that's for sure. Usually HPE service packs, many versions of MSSQL, some Windows 10 etc.

          • @Clear: Have you ever used Hiren's Boot CD? You know, the one before they removed the licensed copy of Ghost? On man, those were the days…

            • @ballsau: YES Hiren's and Ghost really brings it back during the XP/7 days. With pretty much everything running Windows 10 I haven't had to deal with anything broken on the scale it used to be.

Did you ever use ComboFix for virus infections. You had no idea what it was doing, but after the 40 or so stages and a reboot the virus was gone!

          • @Clear: use aws, no filthy hardware

    • so miss Sean Lock

Holly shit his dead! How come?

      • Cancer.

Attempted to purchase and now showing $15 am I missing the trick?

    • OP is just a tease

    • Now expired. Sold out of the online warehouses.

      • Story of my life. I flick through ozbargain see something I might like, read the red expired label and carry on. Today my expectations were raised and then dashed

  • I had a PNY 64GB metal case model, failed after 2 years. Nothing can be recovered. My Samsung OTG 128GB still going strong after 4 years.

    • You know what I'm going to say right? Backups.

      • The modern flash drive controller will make the drive read only when detecting large errors. However, PNY just dropped dead.

My point was, PNY might be cheap, but not a keeper.

        • You didn't say that.
