Best TV under $2k?

Hey guys,

I have to give credit to Sony, I've used the same 40" Bravia that I bought when I moved out of home nearly 12 years ago, the thing just won't die. My wife tried to watch John Wick the other night though and was so disappointed with the viewing experience that she's finally consented to us forking out for an upgrade.

We have a big lounge room that the TV is located in. It's very bright there with windows either side, so despite the hard-on ozbargain has for OLEDs, I'm leaning towards a QLED. Our budget is about $2k (or preferably under). The primary use would be movies/TV, with maybe a little bit of gaming.

I'm in WA, I just had a look on the Retravision website and spotted a couple of deals. I was wondering what peoples opinion was on the best deal available.

There's is a discounted 55" Samsung Neo QLED for $1800

And a discounted 75" Samsung QLED for $2000

I'm of course open to other suggestions and in no rush if the best course is action is to wait for a particular panel to go on sale.

How far back are you from the screen? Leaning towards 75” over 55” unless space is a problem

    Go 75"

  • TCL, Hisense

  • It is a perceptive thing! Take your wife after a good night sleep and check what feels right for both, including the remote control. Personally my eyes prefer Lg oled screens but no 2 humans are equal. You both have to share the joy so make an agreed decision.
