Been looking for a mousepad for a while and didn't manage to get the $15 kmart deal

This mousepad is slightly longer but lacks RBG (in a world where everything is RBG this may be a downside)

This product has 4.2 out of 5 stars from 178 global ratings. Most 1* ratings are due to the low print quality but personally I just want a large cheap mousepad so I've ordered one - lets see what happens.

If you would like to save $0.01, the seller "Saving Home" also has the exact same mouse pad for $10.94 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $39 Spend)

    Looks like usual price.

    • It is indeed, bought this at this price about 2m ago… good size and mouse glides easily but some token mistakes on the map.

Just be weary that the sides (or border) start shedding after a while but the mat is waterpoof and good surface.

"It looks like a copy of a copy of a copy.
It's a Chinese political map that implies Taiwan inaccurately as part of mainland. It's faded on almost every part, the wording out of focus. The pad is thin and it has a strong odour."

    • +4

I didn’t realise China was so big!

I guess one idiot neg you

        • Maybe they have big fingers?

          • +1

@muncan: Maybe they have big ego? Whenever come with that keyword that's not positive, you will get negative reaction.

who cares, for this price its a great deal, lol.
mine is covered up. you can't even see china or taiwan when using the mat.
my mat is slightly thinner then my mouse pad and doesn't have a strong odour.
then again i didn't buy from this seller, and bought mine like 5 years ago and is holding up perfectly well.
with my keyboard and mouse pad on top of the mat, all i see is Australia, South Africa, and Brazil.

      • $10.45 for the 800x300mm desk pad at AliExpress. ~3-week shipping though… Different maps, sizes, and RGB available.

If you're looking for something similar but a different theme (e.g. a desk pad with the periodic table printed on it…), just do a search for 'desk pad' on AliExpress.

I'm not associated. Do your own research, buy at your own risk, etc…

Hold up. Is this a certified and approved map?

Tasmania is on there twice, dammit…

    • you sure? check again.

Hell my US friends thought that New Zealand was Tasmania

      • it so totally is

    • +5

I own this exact one and it does the job well.
I've been after a light up RGB one to increase my frame rates and K:D. snagged this for $14.

$1 cheaper here for a plain mouse pad of the same size, if you dont want the (imo horrible looking) map

  • +3

100% agree with the amazon comments.
It's a fantastic mousepad, but just don't be tricked by the image, it's a lot blurier in reality.

  • I dissent.

  • Its something large to protect your desk and smooth enough to use your mouse on

  • Fuuu this annoys me. I just want a decent map mousepad lol. They don't even list Canberra, Taiwan/China discrepancies, the international dateline is wrong, Tasmania and other places listed twice… they've clearly superimposed multiple images and haven't given an f about the actual map.

As cpho said above you can get a plain mousepad for $9.95

      • I purchased something very similar some time ago thinking I was getting a blank mousepad. Turns out it had a very very faint One Piece pirate flag on it. Not that it matters as the keyboard covers it up but I wonder if many of the blank ones are just failed prints.

  • I bought this and love it. Yep just looking at mine it has the above errors! Also out of the box it was very faded in some places - you can't actually see nz or tas land mass.

But the pattern is good at hiding my coffee stains and the size and material is great. I really love it! Back when I got it it was $11 for the 90x40 size.

  • I have the same-same-but-different mousepad by "Jialong", 90x40cm approx. No problem with Tasmania.

  • I don't know why ppl were complaining about this one. good quality for this price and Tasmania is only once not twice. this arrived very fast
