Cheapest/Best Place to Buy Steam Games/Keys?

Hello,

Just wondering what's the cheapest/reliable place to buy Steam games/keys? Is the Steam Store necessarily the cheapest place to buy games, or are sites like G2A or cdkeys better? I personally haven't bought any games from any site except the Steam Store itself. Many thanks.

    https://isthereanydeal.com/ is useful in this.

  • I know Eneba hasn't worked for many people, but I've bought multiple games from them and haven't had any issues. Also be aware that there is an additional fee when checking out that isn't included on the product page.

  • I too have heard many horror stories, but I've never had any issues with Eneba, CDkeys or G2A.

I just tend to shop those 3 for which is cheapest (keep in mind as Yeemail has said, Eneba have a payment fee of some sorts) and just be sure that with any site, to only buy from positively reviewed sellers.

  • G2A and Cdkeys…cheap yes, reliable no. These 2 sites are banned in multiple forums as they may sell stolen keys which could get your access revoked.

Try https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/ to see whats the latest deals and discussions from more reputable websites.

    • I've never had a problem with cdkeys. G2A are just scum though

      • If its not expensive can probably take a gamble. Worst case scenario is just deactivation of access rights for that game in steam.

  • https://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/buy-skyrim-special-edition-c… search the name of the game you want there and it finds prices from most grey market sellers

  • g2a, they have decent support for customers

i brought a key, a week later i got a steam pop up saying the key has been declined because of a payment issue
(person who sold the key to g2a, did a chargeback on steam so steam revoked the key)

i was refunded after i sent in a message

You can also try https://gg.deals/ - it's basically the same as isthereanydeal, it lists all reputable stores, but also lets you see the prices from sites like cdkeys, G2A, Eneba etc. You can compare the two markets and see whether it's worth bothering with grey market sellers.
