[QLD] TP-Link KP115 Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Slim Energy Monitoring $22.46 + Delivery ($0 in-Store/ C&C) @ Bunnings Brendale

80

Best deal I could find on these smart plugs with power monitoring.

Seems to be showing as $29 for some. Perhaps state-based deal?

Note: Brendale, QLD store seems to be the only store with this price.

Note: Price has reverted to $29 now for Brendale.

  • How slim ?

I grabbed one yesterday, slim enough that they can side by side in powerpoints or a powerboard.

    Showing as $29

  • Currently showing as $29 for me

    • Hmm. Showing as $22.46 for me. State maybe?

      • Potentially, what state you in / what store you looking at?

        • It came up that price before I set my store (as well as after). I'm in Qld.

          • @brazen00: Interesting, I'm QLD too. I am using Underwood Compton Road

            • @mmagin: Welp that's odd. Must have been a price error as it's back to $29 now.

  • The Meross ones have power monitoring and you can get a 4 pack for 69 on Amazon but a little chubby in size.

  • Does this measure wattage drawn? Setting up some mining rigs and want to make sure I keep it within the fuse/amp limits

    • Yes

    • Max is 10 amps.

As others have said, Yes, it can measure watts used, and provides an overall usageas well as current daily usage.
I have mine set up on my miner and the only thing I'm scared of is accidentally tapping the power button which would hard shut the device, wish I could set it to require a long hold or similar to actually toggle.
If it matters, it integrates well into Home Assistant. I'm charting overall PC power consumption and stacking my GPU draw on top of it.

      • Even more useful in Home Assistant now with the new Energy Dashboard as well!

I haven't started playing with it yet, Solar goes up Friday!

  • These are great plugs. I bought a few couple weeks ago for Google Home integration, worked a breeze
