$60 off 1st Box, $20 off 2nd Box and $20 off 3rd Box + $9.99 Delivery (New Customers Only) @ HelloFresh

Use the referral section below to trigger your $100 discount ($60, $20, $20). Some codes are for $100 off or $59.99 off first box, keep clicking on the randomiser until you find one that provides a higher discount ($100 off)

For your first week, based on a box for 2 people, 3 meals will cost you $15.96 (normally $65.96 + $9.99 delivery) so a $60 discount.
You can cancel after that or get 2 more boxes at $20 off (so $55.93 or so each).
I had the intention to cancel after my first box but got used to the convenience and loving it now.
Sometimes I take a break for a few weeks (easy to do online or within their app), often you get a reactivation coupon to then again give you a nice discount for 3 more.

I think the selection of meals is quite OK - it easily feeds 2 adults and 1 child. They also have reasonably priced ready-meals (eg lasagna) if you want to order something extra with your meal packs.

Warning: they auto-pick 3 meals for you and if you don't change them before their cut-off time (often the week before your delivery), you're stuck with those. Happened to me once and I was annoyed but also surprised how much I liked what they selected for me.

  • I enjoyed the burger recipes but I can never get the home made fries right. They always come out wilted and half burnt or soft. And they always stick to the baking paper/foil/tray. Any advices?

  • I hate when the companies ask money even before ordering.

Well they only charge you in the week when you've selected your meal for the upcoming week. I don't think that's unfair, especially because they need to source all the ingredients. So theoretically, they don't charge you before ordering, they do charge before delivering you your food.

      • Why should I give them my credit card details even before I get to know their Menu? What if I did not like anything on their menu?
Imagine going to a restaurant and they ask you to handover your credit card even before they handover the Menu card.

        • Their menu changes all the time, that’s why it’s a subscription service. I guess this $100 discount serves as a way to address your concern about the unknown. Before you signed up for Netflix, did you also want to review their full catalogue first? I pay via PayPal by the way, so you don’t have to ‘give them’ your credit card number.
