Supercheap Auto (Can't Process Order but Still Takes Money from Account)

What is the go at the moment with SCA?

I have tried purchasing a product using the $10 loyalty but both times it has taken the loyalty credit and debited the amount but has not processed the order.

Are these guys for real? I am pissed. Their customer service is bloody appalling as well!! (Of course they are using the excuse of Covid-19)

      1hr 45 min later no one answered so I tried online chat. Lady reinstated the $10 credit and told me it wont happen again.

    They might be testing you on how loyal you actually are. Probably failed as you have ratted them out on OzBargain.

    I understand the rage. Bought some new headlight globes a couple of months ago (online) and it rejected the order but I saw the payment appear on my Amex account. Assuming it was a card issue, I then attempted the same purchase using a Visa and had exactly the same experience. At that point I was thinking of how much time I was going to spend online trying to follow this up with either the card issuers or SuperCheap. However none of the pending debits ever posted and they both disappeared off the account over the following days. It's a pretty bad setup on SuperCheap's part, whatever they have going on there.

  • Happened to me once 2 months ago. Ended up calling their customer service hotline and simply got the charges reversed.

  • I've now waited for 2 weeks, charges are still on my cards.
    I've got $60 in total of pending charges that are still not reversed/disappeared by SCA.
    Contacted them twice about the issue.
