Okay I haven't had home internet in years but I'm thinking about nbn FTTN I think it is.

I have no idea what the situation is today.

Is there any way to connect without having to pay for a modem?

Is there anyway to connect without paying any money upfront?

Can I use a generic name to connect these days?

Which company is the quickest and easiest to connect a new service? Like no delays

What do you mean by generic name??

In regards to paying, most will charge the first month upfront I think.

And yes FTTN you need a modem

Decided my myrepublic they didn't charge anything upfront even though the reviews are not the best I'll see how it goes
