Looking for a Top Quality Home Karaoke Mic

Hi,

We currently have one of these 2-in-1 mics with the speaker built into the mic. Something like this: https://imgur.com/a/2QonhtW

As expected, the quality is pretty terrible.

I'm after a top quality bluetooth mic that i can hook up to my own sound bar. Is this even a thing?

cheers

  • There are probably smartphone apps that you can install that let you speak into your phone's / tablet's microphone and transmit it to your BT enabled soundbar. Assuming you got a flagship phone, the microphone on it is probably quite decent and might even have some degree of noise cancellation.

    Example https://apps.apple.com/us/app/microphone-live/id1070812067

  • I would prefer to get something like this https://www.laserco.com.au/laser-12-inch-party-speaker-with-… and then get a wired or wireless microphone, e.g. Shure or Pyle, which would have more fun.

And then you can even bring it to anywhere.

  • Calling all Philipino Ozbargainers.. your turn to step up!
(they're the experts by far in this field! lol) 😆

They all have at least one magic mic at home and when asked, they all claim that they can't sing. Then when they open their mouth, they actually sing like superstars!

  • There is no high end microphone that hooks up to Bluetooth. If there is, let us know

A high end mic requires a mixer

You can then connect that mixer via 2x RCA to 1x 3.5mm into the headphone jack of the soundbar.

However soundbars typically can only take one audio input at a time.
So you can't have the TV sound and mixer sound at the same time.

I use a Yamaha MG06X and Behringer wireless mics.

Shure microphones are next level up if you want to spend more for top quality.
