  • what was wrong with your Multigroom 7000?

    • The battery died
But it lasted a long time and served me well

      • Just wondering although battery has died, can it be used while plugged in?

        • The 7000 series doesn't work corded but thats because its shower proof. I think this one can work plugged in.

      • how long?

      Yep good for landscaping.

      • I was either looking at this or this specific for landscaping https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Bodygroom-Recortador-49-plateado/dp/B07H41JQVR/?encoding=UTF8&pf_rd_p=fdf0196a-c71a-49bd-9c87-10405d986ab5&pd_rd_wg=jBqwJ&pf_rd_r=FS3G91YJJF0T07J9924E&pd_rd_w=a64c1&pd_rd_r=0af0ca94-b1b5-4953-924d-d5038987367d&ref=pd_gwm_cr_cartx

Be very careful there my friend. You had the 7000 series which is hair/beard/body but the 5000 series is hair/beard only. Landscaping downstairs with the 5000 is fine but don't go deep lawn mowing.

well i used Philips Oneblade where the teeth are pretty close to each other, but it still nicked my scrote the other day! :`(

          • @capslock janitor: Ouch! I got nicked once so I know the feeling. 🤬 Actually it’s good to know cos I was thinking of getting Oneblade as well so you kinda saved me some $.

Thanks. Bought one. I'll bet OP's 7000 is doing what mine is, almost losing charge mid shave.

  • Reviews ain't good. Needs an AU adaptor btw. Anybody know what the charging current required for this?

    Not waterproof

  • Getting to the point in Vic Lockdown that i might need to shave my head without the ability to get a hair cut….

  • I have one of these. It’s good. Glad to learn it has a reinforced tempered steel drivetrain.

  • I have the 7000 series and it's brilliant. This 5000 series is very similar but be be warned that it has no 'body' function.

  • Does anyone know how wide the cutter is? My current trimmer is only 24mm wide which is good for shaping/edging my beard but it takes forever to actually trim my beard/neck.
