CommBank Apple Pay - Purchased but No Charge

Hello everyone.

Yesterday whilst I was on my run I got thirsty and decided to get something to drink from the nearby convenience store.

I picked out a Lipton ice tea - mango (not important to the story but included for those following) which had a cost of $3.50

Now ever since I started using Apple Pay I never carry my physical card, especially not on a run. So I went to the counter and paid. Low and behold the transaction went through, didn’t think much about it and went home.

The problem is this transaction is not showing anywhere on my bank app, not even on my apple wallet app. I’ve been thinking about going back to the store and paying them but has anyone experienced this before?

    Give it a few days to populate in your account.

    CBA has some issues yesterday and they may be playing catch-up.

    Also, I hate mango. Poor choice IMHO.

    If the transaction went through, there's nothing really much to worry about?
    You could try reaching out to Apple, probably won't get very far though

      This issue has nothing to do with Apple and you would be best contact in the bank that issues the card. Apple does not handle support for these types of issues with Apple Pay.

    You're definitely sure payment went through the terminal? Some payments can have a delay in showing up on statements, not too uncommon.

    Yep, there can be a delay, and it's not even an apple pay issue. Just give it a few days.

    It might not show up until the terminal is settled at the end of the day, and can then take up to 1 business day to appear on your account.
