An entire doona at the laundromat. It was an onkaparinga queen too, wool. I actually cried that COLD night. Went back to complain to the owner and it was there in the dryer, dry. I looked in the wrong one the day before. I was still angry at whoever did this…it was me. LOL….sob.

I've used public laundary back in the uni. Didn't lose any "absurd" items other than loose socks, but I did once saw a giant boot left in the machine.
