    About half what I paid. Much rougher texture than most pads, but seems to get the job done pretty well. I like the texture now that I'm used to it.

      It softens a bit as well, but it's a solid and easy to clean surface that's quicker than most cloth pads, and better stopping power than any pad that's at its level of speed.

        Even compared to the endgame gear cordura pads? I have a Hien but want to move to a larger fast pad.

          No, it would be inferior to the MPC series, but it's also a quarter of the price. The equivalent Cooler Master is the MP511, and the XL model is $39.

          The MPX390 is a step above both, but it's the only MPX model, and it's $90.

          I'd just go either for this, or the MP511.

    Growing up in the 80s and 90s, there were plastic keyboard covers and mouse pads everywhere, many were binned. It seems I had fallen asleep since then, said keyboard covers are back on mechanical keyboards and mouse pads are back in vogue. What happened?? @@
