Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy S21

With so many people (38500 clicks) on the Telstra Day Samsung S21 deal, i thought i'd ask what phone cases you're all getting?
Mine is still on back order.

Looking to purchase soon because i broke my S10 camera lense in the first week of ownership waiting for a case to be delivered!!

Can you please provide some recommendations and places where you purchased it?

Thanks in advance.

  • I have the genuine Smartview Samsung flip case for my S21+. The case itself is good and protects the phone well, but the front flap isn't designed well and rubs on the screen along the right edge which scratches the screen protector. I'm happy to put up with it, but I won't get another one.

  • I have the genuine wallet style case in link below. Love it. Takes the Medicare and credit card so don't have to carry a handbag all the time! The led cover top shows who is calling so no need to open the flap to see.

  • Spigen and Ringke are my go to cases for every device I've owned.

Use this on my s21 ultra:
Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S21 Case, Black

    • This looks good. Does it have raised edges at front to protect the screen, so should I buy a screen protector also?

      • If you look at image #6 on the listing it shows that it does have raised edges.

      • Yes raised edges at the front.

I personally would leave the Samsung stock screen protector on the screen as I can't stand microscratches on my screens, though it does take away some feeling for the glass as it is just flimsy plastic film. However, if U want to truly feel the glass just take it off.

Not many glass ones out there that are good quality and work with the fingerprint sensor. A lot of them are rubbish and waste of money, due to the slight curve of the screen.

Only one I would consider is Whitestone Dome glass but it is pricey at $70.

        • Thanks. OOS now

I use these, cheap and they feel perfect in the hand and they are grippy.

  • Bought this in eBay - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S21-Plus-Ultra-5G…

Cheap but surprisingly good quality. Side is flat which I like. And camera is covered except the lenses which is good additional protection.

    Spigen. The best I've owned.

I've got a bad track record of dropping phones and breaking screens. However it seems to happen a lot less with a case that has a cover. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393311960771?var=662196626360

The missus is very careful with her phone so no cover works great - Spigen Ultra Hybrid works great. It has a slightly elevated edge (more than the normal slim case) to keep the screen away from the surface when it's placed face down.

  • Any recommendations for a tempered glass screen protector that works well with this fingerprint sensor? Most of the glass screen protectors on Amazon have mixed reviews regarding compatibility with this type of sensor. Thanks in advance!

I don't use glass, but apparently the only one that's half decent with the sensor is Whitestone, but $$$. Not worth it, imo.
