1 year student subscription to the AFR website for $75. The sign up asks for a uni email address and student number etc. Good saving if you are a uni student or know someone who is.

  probably a stupid question, but what's the difference between 'website access' and 'website subscription' ? They seem to have the same 'features' as listed on the site.

  for $120 /year (normal price) you get the weekend paper + 'website access'

  which, admittedly is more expensive. The reason I ask is if they're the same thing, then weekend paper + website access at $10 /month is ridiculously cheaper than the $59 /month (normal price) for website subscription alone…which suggests that website subscription offers more? Either that or their pricing makes no sense at all

    $120 /year (normal price) only gives you weekend paper. To add website access for free, existing subscriptions must be either 5 or 6 days paper.

  This is still going on - and yes, you can sign into the iPad app too and it works :-)
