  Played this for years but got off it about 2 years ago when it got plagued with hacks and cheats.. is this still the case?

    Are you talking about the console version or PC? Pretty sure console is fine, and you don't play against PC players.

    The game is great. Played it a lot though not so much in recent times. In the beginning they were going for a more realistic approach, now it's gone a bit crazy with all the gadgets and silly skins.

        It's definitely way more solid now, although you will encounter plenty of people with KB+M, likely once you start getting into higher skilled matches. But that's the same with any FPS.

    Completely different experience, my friends and I prefer it over Warzone personally. But we've been playing since launch so 🤷‍♂️ If you have a friend who's also interested or already has it, definitely jump in with them.

    The game has an insanely steep learning curve, a more than occasionally toxic community and regular issues with netcode, yet it's probably my most played game. When it gels, it's one of the funnest mp games out there, there's a lot of decent people who are willing to help and teach you tricks and strategies and even if that's not your thing, the co-op pve stuff can be really fun too. Worth a look in for $10.
